21st October - Mitcham & Carshalton Rugby Club are delighted to announce that upon a final collection, we received £5881.70 from the GoFundMe crowdfundraiser.
This has come from a large number of donors with money coming from players past and present, friends and family of the club and members of the local community who wanted to support the Mitcham. M&C can't thank these donors enough for their support and contributions.
Regarding the roof, the committee are in the process of finalising quotes for the rebuilding of the roof, the damage of which is now considerable with the poor weather and had started to damage the electric fittings in the roof. This received money will go a long way in repairing the club that we all know and love.
