Week Two saw a 1XV team travel south down to Haslemere. After a disappointing start to Surrey 4 this was a great opportunity to put things right after a intense Tuesday night training sessions.  

The first half got off to a flyer and M&C went into a commanding lead with tries from numerous people including Paul Jones, Ryan Jones and Jon Duggan. Shout out to Paul Jones with a potential try of the season contender, a gorgeous chip and chase which was gathered in and executed to perfection. 

With the second half kicking off, M&C found themselves in a commanding 47-0 lead. Several strong performances and more tries for Aaron Parsons, Michael Kestell, Kieron Stalker and Johnjoe Dolan saw the match close on 0-59. Special shout out to Aaron Parsons who picked up the man of the match award after some exceptional play around the park.

Next up for M&C, our 1XV are at Home to Harlequins Amateurs and our 2XV are at Home to Reeds Weybrisge on Saturday 2nd Oct.
