Mitcham & Carshalton is run by volunteers. It simply couldn't survive without members of the club giving up their spare time to do everything from coaching to painting the changing rooms, running the accounts to serving behind the bar.
If you would like to do more than just play rugby or drop off your chid on a Sunday then please get in touch, just helping out for a hour a month can make a real difference to the regular volunteers, putting your hand up to help out doesn't mean you have to take a full committee position it's simply all about "many hands make light work"! This applies just as much to past members as those currently involved with the club, you don't have to be down every week you just need a desire to get rugby played and enjoyed by more people and the more involved you are the more relevant what the club does becomes to you!
Please give John Beckett (079 5663 8266), Keir Waller (07872925708) or Ben Woods (07515902864) or talk to any committee member, there are so many tasks to be done and it doesn't have to be at the club, many can be done from home without coming to the club. Of course if you want to be more involved there are vacant committee positions available and if interested we can easily provide you with a job role so you know what you might be getting into!
