Since the repainting of the changing rooms and the clearing of the courtyard last summer, we have revamped all the club electrics (thanks to Richard Best for his time and skills plus Surrey Rugby for a grant!) and flushed the heating system. Now the clubhouse interior is due a re-paint. All the memorabilla has come off the walls before a couple of coats of crips white were put up by club members with significant help from Sam Askey. Much of this work has been instigated or supervised by Club Captain Billy French, so big thanks to him.

Next up is our attempt to renovate the garden to the rear of the clubhouse. Ben Woods and Keir Waller are hands on with this one and have already made great strides in clearing the growth and removing the debris left from the arson attack. Now attention turns to laying a patio and digging a fire pit to make the use of the space.

All of this has been done without a Pavillion Manager, if you are paractially inclined and can organise others then please get in touch with club chair Sam Bardwell (078 2353 7077, sam.bardwell@sky.uk). Here is the link to the RFU's description of the role (link) which is slighlty more comprehensive than we require!
